Turning Creativity Into a Signature
Saudi artist, creative director and marketer Rehab Alzanbaqi is building a creative vision that brings together art, design and culture.

Creativity has been part of Rehab Alzanbaqi’s life since childhood. Born with a natural talent for drawing, she developed an early passion for artistic expression that gradually grew beyond drawing into design, culture, beauty and creative work.
Her appreciation for Saudi culture has played an important role in shaping this journey. At the same time, her curiosity about cultures around the world has continued to influence the way she sees art and creativity. These interests have become part of both her artistic perspective and her professional path.
After studying English, Rehab moved into marketing, building experience across culture, tourism, art and sports. Her professional journey has included work with organisations and projects such as Emaar The Economic City, the Makkah Region Development Authority, Sela and Saudi 2027.

Working across these different fields gave Rehab an opportunity to see creativity from another perspective. Her experiences showed her how an idea can develop into an identity, how creative work can connect with people and how thoughtful experiences can leave an impression.
That understanding now forms an important part of her own artistic vision.
Today, Rehab aspires to build a creative brand that carries her own signature. Her vision brings together three areas that have shaped her journey: art, design and culture.
She imagines beginning with paintings, furniture and artistic pieces, drawing inspiration from Saudi culture while remaining open to the richness and diversity of cultures around the world. Rather than limiting her work to one form, she wants to explore different ways of bringing artistic ideas into people's everyday spaces.

For Rehab, the purpose of this work goes beyond creating individual pieces. She wants her creations to transform spaces, evoke emotions and tell stories.
This vision is closely connected to her own journey. Her background in marketing has given her an understanding of identity and communication, while her lifelong relationship with art gives her a personal creative language. Together, these experiences have shaped the foundation for the brand she hopes to build.
The idea is not simply to create a business, but to create something that feels personal and carries her name and perspective. Each piece can become part of a larger creative identity rooted in her experiences, her appreciation of Saudi culture and her curiosity about the wider world.

As she continues developing this vision, Rehab is bringing together the different sides of her career and interests. Art provides the creative foundation, design opens new possibilities, culture gives the work its sense of place, and marketing brings an understanding of how ideas can connect with people.
Her journey is still evolving, but the direction is clear. She is working towards a creative practice that reflects where she comes from while remaining open to influences beyond it.

HerStory celebrates Rehab Alzanbaqi for turning a lifelong passion for creativity into a vision that brings together art, design, culture and storytelling, with the ambition to create work that carries her own signature and leaves a meaningful impact.
